Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for performing exams under the direction of a physician in the Cardiac Catheterization lab. The technologist is trained to assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures and to monitor the patient's hemodynamic status throughout. The technologist is also trained to perform assessments as it relates to cardiovascular disease processes.

Education/Skills Required:
·Associate's Degree of an approved School of Radiologic Technology Program
·Maintain current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists status.
·New York State Department of Health license required.
·BLS Required.
·Three years Cath Lab experience required.

Must Have Experience: Minimum of two years Electrophysiology experience required.
